You will need continue your insurance coverage to cover potential ER/urgent care, hospital, surgical or specialist bills. Your insurance info will be collected and used for outside labs, radiology, vaccinations and medications. I will provide all your Primary Care needs for the set monthly fee.
At this time I cannot see patients that have AHCCCS or HMO plans as their primary insurance as being out of network these plans restrict how and who can care for their subscribers.
There are varying opinions on the use of HSA/FSA accounts for medical membership. The recent Act that just passed (July 2025) should make it easier to use HSA/FSA for DPC membership starting Jan 2026. You should contact your insurance provider or tax expert to determine eligibility.
I'm glad that your child is healthy! The best way to maintain their excellent health is through partnership with their pediatrician. Even with healthy kids, parents may have health concerns or other small questions which they would like to discuss. Waiting for an appointment, taking off work or paying a co-pay can make this more difficult. DPC eliminates this since you can have direct communication via text/phone, email, or telehealth whenever your concerns come up... No hidden fees or waiting. If they do get sick, most patients are seen in the comfort of their own home during same or next-day visits.
Absolutely! I actually require a meet and greet before any membership. This gives you a chance to make sure that I am a good fit for you and your family.

Luckily, due to technology, if you're able to text/call me, we can continue as usual. Once we determine best option, I can send in a prescription to the nearest pharmacy or help coordinate care with a local doctor if necessary.
We occasionally do small trips out of town. In this situation I would not be available to do an in-home visit, but still able to help via text/call or televisit.
If I am going to be out of the country for an extended period of time, I would let all families know at least a couple weeks in advance. If needed, we can come up with possible options to be ready if there are any concerns that may come up during the time that I am out.
Yes. I will work with families with multiple kids to determine what will work best.
Yes. If you are not happy or need to cancel for any reason, you can without penalty. 30 day notice is required. There may be re-enrollment fee or be placed on wait list.
